Safety Belt Not Detected

This occurs when the seatbelt is not fastened, and the vehicle is in motion.

  • Level 1 Warning:

    • Trigger: Vehicle speed exceeds 15 km/h, and the driver has not fastened the seatbelt.

    • Alert: A continuous slow-beeping buzzer until the driver fastens the seatbelt or the speed drops below 8 km/h.

  • Level 2 Warning:

    • Trigger: Seatbelt remains unfastened for two minutes while the vehicle is in motion.

    • Alert: Continuous fast-beeping buzzer until the seatbelt is fastened or speed decreases below 8 km/h.


Safety Belt Bypassed

This occurs when the seatbelt sensor is manipulated, or the belt is left fastened but not properly worn.

  • Level 1 Warning:

    • Trigger: Vehicle operates for more than three minutes with the seatbelt bypassed.

    • Alert: Buzzer beeps five times to signal improper usage.

  • Level 2 Warning:

    • Trigger: Two minutes after Level 1 is triggered, and the seatbelt remains improperly used.

    • Alert: Buzzer beeps ten times to emphasise the violation.

    When generating a Event Listing Report that focuses on Seat Belt monitoring, set the lower speed threshold (e.g., 16 km/h) to exclude events triggered while the vehicle was stationary. This ensures your report focuses only on relevant events when the vehicle was moving.
